The last car Enzo Ferrari signed off on, sitting low on polished split-rim wheels outside the Monterey Plaza Hotel. Kevlar and carbon panels over a tube frame, twin turbos hanging off a 2.9-litre V8, and nothing else — no traction control, no power steering, no leather. Shot head-on under the sky bridge, in profile against the hotel colonnade, and tight on the NACA ducts and slatted engine cover. It even collected a Monterey parking citation while we worked, which felt entirely appropriate.
